Hi I'm Trevor

Trevor Delaney, Web Design, Graphic Design, Halifax NS

My name is Trevor Delaney and for the past 13 years I have worked with two very distinct media formats: print and web. Specializing in advertising, branding and user interface design, I take story board concepts / brainstorming ideas and bring them to life. I focus my complete attention on each project to deliver the best possible result. I’m a goal-oriented person who operates quickly and efficiently, and I’m at my best when I’m fully challenged.

I absolutely love what I do!

About Hop Creative

We are a tiny design house located in the lovely little city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. With over 12 years experience we can safely say that Graphic & Web Design is our specialty. Most of the time we work with local clients that are situated here in Nova Scotia. There are also times that we do work for clients across the globe.

Hop Creative the company was formed officially in May of 2009. Currently, Hop is a one man shop which consists of me...Trevor.

... my story so far

I grew up in the small town of North Sydney on beautiful Cape Breton Island. For as long as I can remember I had an eye for design. I got into comic books at the early age of 9 and started drawing my own super heroes soon after. By 13 I was lucky enough to have a 486 computer which enabled me to play video games early on. I enjoyed these games but what I really wanted to do was make my own. At 14 I started playing guitar and really got into the local music scene. I started using graphic programs to create posters and logos for my friend's bands. I was certainly on a creative path.

College rolled around in 1996. I enrolled myself into a two year Advanced Multimedia Design course at McKenzie College where I studied Design, Animation, Authoring, Basic Programming and Freehand Drawing. The highlights for me were Web & Graphic Design. I really liked creating web sites and creating magazine covers.

I moved to Halifax NS in 1998 and landed my first job doing web and print design work. I've been at it ever since. I've worked for some pretty big companies over the course of 13 years. At these companies I've worked on some extremely large projects.

The whole time I've been working my 'day job' I've been working the 'freelance' circuit as well. As you can tell, I like to be busy.

Also...

I'm married, a dad, I love Macs and I think PC's are okay too. I play guitar, sing loudly in the car and can play some mean air drums. I'm also a bit of a neat freak who strictly drives German Swedish cars.

Oh, You should probably follow me on twitter.
